Join us for a fun, DIY, hands-on, three-hour workshop designed for beginners eager to explore the art of needle felting!
In this workshop you will be creating a charming polar bear to learn the steps to crafting other animals and get a feel for the craft of needle felting. You will learn essential techniques, such as building an armature for structure, layering wool to form the body and applying fine wool for detailed features. You will learn how to use the needles and how to use a mat. We will cover tips for the selection of needles, safe felting practices, and finishing touches to bring your polar bear to life. A materials list will be provided for the needles, wool and foam mat (coming soon). There will be a demonstration and one on one interaction. Enjoy working along with other like-minded crafters for a joyful Saturday afternoon.
